The Sandia Mountain Wilderness comprises 37,900 acres in the Cibola National Forest of central New Mexico, just north of the Manzano Mountain Wilderness (36,800 acres). The front of the map shows the trails of the Sandia Mountains, including trails along the foothills open spaces on the western flanks of the mountains, while the back of the map shows trails of the Manzano Mountains southeast of Albuquerque.
