Spruce Mountain Open Space
The Spruce Mountain Open Space is one of the more popular Douglas County Open Space hiking areas with a scenic 5-mile loop trail that ascends to the top of a mesa before traversing all sides. This trail provides a great vistas of the surrounding buttes and foothills as well as the surrounding grasslands.
