Pagosa Springs, CO is known for its hot springs, proximity to the San Juan National Forest and easy access to Wolf Creek Pass ski resort. With an extensive trail system just to the west of town in the San Juan National forest as well as access to two of Colorado's largest wilderness areas further afield - the Weminuche Wilderness and the South San Juan Wilderness - Pagosa Springs is an excellent base camp for the hiking enthusiast.
