Mud Lake Open Space
Near Nederland, CO and south of Caribou Ranch Open Space is the small recreation area Mud Lake Open Space. From the main parking area just off the Peak to Peak Highway, there are a variety of loop options available to hikers exploring this mountain park as well as access to the small Mud Lake itself.
