Colorado

On the west side of Pikes Peak, there is a trail system with a number of unique destinations in the Pike National Forest - such as Horsethief Falls, Pancake Rocks and Sentinel Point - though none of them will take you to the summit of Pikes Peak. Easily accessible from Cripple Creek, CO and Woodland Park, CO, there are about 11 miles of day hiking adventures in this part of the Pikes Peak Region, and in the future, this will connect to the Ring The Peak Trail System still under development.
