Harvey Gap State Park
Located about 8 miles northwest of New Castle, CO is the Harvey Gap State Park. Used by fishermen year-round, including ice fishing in winters, the park is centered around a 190-acre reservoir at an elevation of 6,500ft just north of the Grand Hogback ridge. There are no hiking trails or camping in this state park, so hikers must look elsewhere in the area to stretch their legs. This is a fee area.
