Colorado

West of the Florissant Fossil Beds and on the southeast edge of South Park in central Colorado is the Eleven Mile State Park, a large reservoir (about 6 miles long) popular with fisherman. Known by anglers to have great fishing for trophy rainbow, cutthroat and brown trout as well as kokanne and pike, there is also a small hiking area for on-land exploration as well on the southeastern side of the reservoir. This is a fee area.
