About 6 miles west of Boulder, CO linking Boulder Canyon Drive in the south with Fourmile Canyon Drive in the north is the hiking area of Betasso Preserve. Hiking, horseback riding and on-lease dog walking area allowed on all trails, but this popular area is best visited by hikers on Wednesdays and Saturdays when mountain bikes are not on the trails. A number of loop options are available.
