CO-Air Force Academy Area Hiking

Colorado

Located in the Pike National Forest just north of Colorado Springs, this series of trails can be access from the east via trailheads around the US Air Force Academy (limited entry to authorized personnel only) or from the west side just east of Woodland Park with trailheads near Rampart Reservoir and along Rampart Range Road. All of these trails are located on National Forest lands, but the Farish Recreation to the north of Rampart Reservoir, including the Farish Trail, is limited to active-duty military and other eligible personnel.
